About Us

Robyn Kade, MA, MCMA, CHES, CHWC, MBMFS, cpt
Robyn Kade is the CEO and President of The Stress Management Institute for Health and Fitness Professionals™, The SMI Business Institute™, Zenlio™, and the Stress Management Institute Wellness Center™, which will open in the spring of 2025. She is an Instructional Designer through the IAP Career College and a podcaster for the Mind/Body Harmony™ podcast series with Dr. Angello Puig.
The Complimentary Medical Association (CMA) recognizes Robyn Kade as a practitioner and fellow. The Complimentary Medical Association and the International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine have accredited the Stress Management Institute for Health and Fitness Professionals for our prestigious Mind/Body Medicine Fitness Practitioner™ courses. Robyn is also a Government Liaison and a Conventional Medical Organization Liaison for the Complimentary Medical Association.
Robyn recently updated her courses for 2025 and added the Chronic Disease Health and Wellness Coach™ Certification to her already established Mind/Body Fitness Practitioner™ courses. Robyn earned her bachelor's degree in Health Promotion and Fitness Management from Rowan University. Subsequently, she achieved her master's degree in Wellness and Lifestyle Management, along with a Certificate of Graduate Study in Health and Wellness Coaching, through the Virtua Health College of Medicine and Life Sciences' School of Nursing and Health Professions. Robyn is a Certified Health Education Specialist accredited by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing. She holds CITI certification for Human Subjects Research and is a certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor with the American Council on Exercise.
She is also an Exercise Program Leader with the Aquatics Exercise Association and the Arthritis Foundation. Additionally, Robyn has received certification from the American College of Sports Medicine for Exercise Is Medicine, possesses a certificate in PTSD from the Kew Training Academy, and is a Compassion Fatigue Resiliency and Recovery Educator. She is also a nutrition educator certified by the National Nutrition Program and Trauma Informed Certified by the Center for Healing. Robyn is an Essential Oil Specialist through doTerra, a Nutrition Coach through NESTA, a Cancer Exercise Specialist through the Cancer Exercise Training Institute, and a Nutrition Specialist through the American Academy of Sports Dieticians and Nutritionists.
Robyn has dedicated twenty-five years to medical-based fitness. Her journey began as a physical therapy aide and personal trainer in Hammonton, New Jersey, where she spent six years. She then contributed sixteen years to Virtua Hospital's William G. Rohrer Center for HealthFitness in Voorhees, New Jersey. While at the Rohrer Center, Robyn held the position of Internship Supervisor from 2012 to 2016. In 2015, she worked with the management team to help the Rohrer Center recertify its Medical Fitness Association Facility Certification. When Virtua Hospital shuttered its fitness center in 2022, she transitioned to the Jewish Community Center (JCC) in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Robyn remains active in the field, teaching JWellFit (medical-based fitness classes), participating on the Medical Advisory Board for JWellFit, and engaging with the Parkinson's Connection and Fit for Kids exercise and nutrition programs. Additionally, she serves as a Wellness Coach, Health Educator, and Group Fitness Instructor at the JCC. Robyn's unwavering dedication to her client's well-being is evident in her approach. She believes working hands-on with individuals to educate health and fitness professionals and stay updated with the fitness industry's constant changes is essential. This commitment extends to her role as a consultant for the Gerson Lehrman Group.
She is an industry expert for the MedFit Network, Adjunct Professor, and a Personal Training Advisory Board member at Camden County College in New Jersey. She has taken the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction program (MBSR) through Jefferson University Hospital for Mindfulness. Robyn has also taken a course on geriatrics and aging through the University of Rochester Medical Center and Health Concepts in Chinese Medicine from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
Robyn's expertise has earned her recognition in the industry. She has been featured on the Looping Up Show with Rebecca Chalson and the Business Innovators Radio show with Phil Faris. Her insights have been shared through articles in Nou Magazine, Virtua Hospital, and the Association of Fitness Studios. Robyn has also been a sought-after presenter at various industry events, including the Camden County Women's Health Expo, the Medical Fitness Tour in New Jersey and California, and the FitLife Club Network in Oregon. She was also recently highlighted by the American Council on Exercise for working with special populations. Robyn combines her knowledge to offer a distinctive course designed to assist your clients in reducing chronic stress, which may subsequently prevent chronic illness.
